Our solution
Beginning in May 2023, Wildwood created a strategic six-month campaign targeting the design media, leveraging key show news, exhibitor highlights, designer collaborations and the Decorex Talks Programme. We created ‘must-read’ content with industry expert contributions on relevant show themes such as design trends, sustainability and craftsmanship.
Our campaign also targeted exhibitors and the team worked with them to promote their presence at the show. We created exhibitor fact sheets to identify key news hooks and used these to promote the broad range of product launches and new collections that would be showcased by exhibitors at the event. Over 160 exhibitors supplied this information.
Wildwood created a full digital press kit for media attending the show, which included press information about the show (including press releases and images).
Wildwood also invited exhibitors to upload their own press content, creating a step-by-step file upload guide to help them. This offered media an essential tool to access all the press material they would need for writing show reviews.
The results
We achieved significant pre-show exposure and attracted journalists to attend from national, regional, trade and interiors media.
National Coverage
Achieved in Elle Decoration, House & Garden, Living Etc, The Sunday Times and the Financial Times.
Trade Coverage
Achieved in Interior Designer, Dezeen, Hospitality Design, Architecture, The Art of Design and Cover.
Total Exposure
200 pieces of print and online coverage achieved throughout the campaign, with a potential reach of 3.85M (print) and 173M (online).
Wildwood is now working on the Decorex 2024 PR campaign.
